i turn the page but the book is blank
i scream high but the dark attacks
when time's caving in like my emotions hidden within
they collapse inside with lack of solace and a place to hide
all I'm left with is a tear and a sigh
when you walk past me and cant even look me in the eye
lay myself under your eyes
and when the tears form up inside
will they dim the fire?
as I cling to you like embers in the dying light
